The resort has stunning scenic beauty and plenty of activities available, but the accommodations unfortunately leave much to be desired. The cabins and rooms are quite outdated and cleanliness was a significant issue, impacting my overall enjoyment. However, the staff were friendly and attentive, helping make the experience a bit better.

We spent a memorable weekend here, enjoying the scenic beauty and various family activities. The lakeside views were stunning, and the lodge offers comfortable accommodations for everyone. On the downside, the indoor pool was freezing, and there were issues with amenities that could have been better handled. Overall, it was a lovely retreat but with room for improvement.

The lodge is a beautiful and cozy spot, perfect for a memorable getaway with family or friends. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although I found the pillows to be a bit small. The dining experience was generally good, especially the breakfast, although some meals felt a bit pricey. The outdoor and indoor pools were clean and a great way to unwind after a day of activities. It would be nice to see more microwaves available for guest use on every floor.

This lodge offers a beautiful setting with stunning views of the lake and mature oaks that enhance the outdoor experience. The pools are well-maintained and a great spot for family fun. However, the rooms could use some serious cleaning and updating, and the dining experience was hit or miss with some greasy food. Overall, it's a decent stay but not without its flaws.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were spacious, featuring two double beds and two bunk beds, which were comfortable for a family of four. However, the lack of comfortable seating was a drawback, and cleanliness was an issue in all rooms.
Service

The service was commendable, especially the quick responses to requests like linens and maintenance issues. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made up for some of the room problems.
Location
9.0
The lodge is set in a breathtaking area with beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. The surrounding mature oaks add to the charm, but some areas could use better attention to cleanliness.
Dining

Dining was a mixed experience. Breakfast specials were better than dinner menu items which tended to be greasy. Overall, the food quality fluctuated.

Our stay at the lodge was full of mixed experiences. While we were captivated by the serene beauty surrounding the property and enjoyed a clean pool area, we found some aspects, like the marina services and certain staff interactions, left a lot to be desired. The lodge itself was a charming place, but there were issues with our room and some service challenges that detracted from our overall enjoyment.

Rooms
6.0
The room had a lovely lake view but was chilly, and the bedspread was less than inviting. Despite being spacious, it lacked adequate warmth and comfort for our stay.
Service
5.0
Although some staff were friendly, we faced issues with service at the marina which felt overpriced and unprofessional, negatively impacting our experience.
Location
8.0
The lodge is beautifully situated with mature oaks and stunning lake views, although cleanliness in some outdoor areas wasn't up to par. That said, the overall surrounding beauty was a highlight.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were limited, but breakfast was much better than dinner. We enjoyed regional jams and the morning specials made for a delightful start to our days.
Facilities
7.0
The pool area was clean and well-maintained, providing a nice spot to relax, but other facilities could use some improvements, especially regarding customer service.
